The CHILD SPACE method deals with accompanying physical development of infants and small children- to teach them skills of direction in movement.
Through offering possibilities for improved movement, all senses and physical abilities of the child such as grasping, rolling and crawling are being promoted in playful ways. Additionally, the baby/child is being encouraged to try out new movements.
Through this, the baby/child gains confidence in its abilities, will happily establish social contact and is internally balanced.
The parents role is to see and understand the methods that are being tought, in order to apply them at home. The right amount of support and care for the baby in the right time is essential- not too much and not too little.
While CHILD SPACE is focused on working with children, parents are in the position of a passive participant. As such, they have the opportunity to gather practical experience for supporting the further development of their children. This is done through watching and/or trying things out during the sessions, among others, holding, carrying, calming as well as animation techniques are being carried out.
